Amethyst and diamond ring
The Brief:
Our client had two loose diamonds and had always wanted them made into a dress ring with a purple stone.
The Process:
Nicholas drew a number of designs and our client chose a three stone ring design featuring bezel settings. She chose the bezel setting for both look and practicality, and loved the contrast of purple with the pink gold:
We got a range of purple stones in to the studio workshop for our client to look at. She wasn’t sure which stone to choose – the winning stone won because she loved the effect of the checkerboard faceting on the table of the cushion cut amethyst.
