Diamond Branch Ring
The Brief:
This ring started with the client's diamonds: the diamonds are all round stones - some are old fashioned cuts, some are newer stones and they are all varying sizes.
The Process:
Nicholas and our client originally discussed setting the diamonds into a ring with a very rough textured style with the diamonds set at random; the design developed further and they both decided that the band should be simplified to make the diamonds really pop.
The finished design is a concave profile ring featuring a ‘branch’ of diamonds. The customer’s diamonds are both modern and old fashioned cuts and are all different sizes; Nicholas made the most of the beautiful variation in the stones to create an organic look – almost like the diamonds have been discovered in the ground. Our client absolutely loves the finished ring and she wears it every day.
