Sapphire, tourmaline and diamond ring
The Brief:
This commission began with our client bringing in some dark blue sapphires that have an important family meaning.
The Process:
Our client wanted a ring that could be worn every day. Nicholas suggested adding some gemstones of an unexpected contrasting colour, and contacted one of our trusted gemstone suppliers to find some striking, pale green tourmalines. Nicholas specifically chose a contrasting shape for the tourmalines, choosing a princess cut shape:
This striking ring is easy for our client to wear every day, and it brings her a lot of joy to wear the highly sentimental sapphires in this new way:
