Inspired by flora
Nature has been a source of inspiration for artists including painters, sculptors and jewellers for hundreds of years. Flowers, in particular, have been a strong theme for jewellery. Here are some of the more recent floral-inspired jewellery pieces made by well-known international jewellery houses:

Nicholas has always been inspired by leaves, flowers and nature (see his garden here):
Over many years I have used flora as the inspiration for jewellery. I find plant and foliage forms easy to portray in real and stylized form. There is something very pleasing and rewarding about natural forms and the way I can adapt them.
Here are some of the PIKE designs and jewellery that have been inspired by Nicholas’ love of nature:

Gold and diamond leaf necklaces.

Onyx, silver and yellow gold pendant.

Camellia two tone gold and diamond ring.

Reed brooch with frogs.

Leaf brooch.

Diamond glory vine brooch.

Electroplated gum leaf and nuts.

Yellow and white diamond flower ring.

Yellow and white diamond floral ring.

Radiant cut floral ring.
