Happy festive season

Hi everyone

This is my last blog for 2020, and I am still amazed at the vast changes we have all experienced this year. This has been a year like no other!

A long history of owning our own business and what it has experienced over the past forty-eight years, I live in hope and look forward. I give credit to the past and use it to develop new ways to deal with whatever faces me and us. And this past year has certainly been amazing, and I am so thankful for my family’s support and our clients’ support. The processes we put into place in our intimate Highgate studio 6 years ago have proven so valuable in how we have supported our clients – we have been committed to making them feel at ease as we have all faced the ever-changing protocols.

I feel we are so fortunate that during COVID our workshop has never been busier making jewellery, remaking jewellery and designing future pieces, and the beginning of next year is already filled with planned commissions, giving our clients something to look forward to in 2021.

As part of our positive direction to celebrate our success in 2020, I have designed a pendant that I love. It encompasses the continuous flow of a fluid form, pleasing to touch and suitable for everyday wear or for a special event.

This is the latest addition to our PIKE Collection, and over the past six years at Highgate we have created many Collection pieces celebrating the year passed. We have continued to produce them giving a wide choice of beautiful, wearable pendants and earrings with the recognisable PIKE look. Please call in to the studio to view our 2020 piece, or you can choose from our previous years’ designs.

I would like to wish you all the very best for the Festive Season of 2020 and sincerely thank those that have chosen to support us this year. Keep an eye out for my latest Christmas card design which was inspired by this year’s pendant. I have fantasised about a willing client calling in to order this gorgeous ‘bauble’ and I live in hope. What a piece it would be!
