How did Nicholas design and make the 2016 Christmas Collection?

This year, he tried something a bit different. He was interested in getting some input from some of a range of PIKE customers, and invited them to a series of design workshops:

What came out of these workshops were some strong themes; Nicholas explains more in the video below:

After finalising the three pendant designs for the collection, Nicholas started the manufacturing process:

Once completed, the hand carved waxes were sent away to Adelaide’s specialist casting company, and on their return Nicholas was back to the jewellery bench cleaning them up. And then it was time to start playing with some diamonds!

And here are the beautiful finished pendants. The 2016 PIKE Christmas Collection features 3 pendants – small, medium and large – it can be worn as a simple, classic pendant or you can choose to add diamonds. Each pendant comes with a sterling silver 45cm long adjustable silver chain, so it can be worn as a choker, or longer.

Nicholas is also keen to show you how the pendant can be personalised as part of the Signature Service like the one below:

Part of the classic PIKE experience is the gift wrapping service we offer:
